Résumé : |
Exiled memory is formed from "break-events" that force members of a family to leave their home nation. How these people reconstruct the reasons for their departure, suppressing certain affects, freezing certain memories and transmitting them to their descendents, that is the theme of this study. It is based on the case of a foreign woman who was able
to work on her family story during a "Family romance and social trajectory"' seminar. A thorough analysis of her story enabled this woman better to understand the conscious and unconscious relations woven between the various members of her family, better to accept her desires and face the guilt engendered by her actions. |
