This article situates the practice of coaching within companies in the processes of social regulation, which solicit the individual and personality more and more, exploited in terms of competence. Based on a survey concerning companies from CAC 40 as well as a case taken from our practice, we have put forward the aims of the recommended coaching, directed towards the social control and the mediation between the individual and the organisation. The coaches can however, in assuming these reality elements, not renounce the human objectives, indeed humanist aspects of their practices. |
