Résumé : |
This article outlines the trajectory of career, of 34 malagasy doctors expatriated to France. Relying on the life story method, this qualitative study uses the developmentalist approach to international careers. The results clearly highlight two standard profiles: firstly, doctors with an interstitial career as a nurse who eventually occupy their profession of origin; secondly, those who definitively turn to the nursing profession. Furthermore, the interviews emphasise the socio-economic, motivational and cultural factors which may explain this expatriation. |
