In his reaction to Elliott Jaques' lecture, Gilles Amado manifests his agreement as to the
risks of a reducing use of psychoanalysis but abo maintains the interesr of lwving recourse
to rhis discipline. Ir is because organiz? rional roles are assumed hy people. therefore h\'
their psychism, that psychoanalysis has a contribution to make . even if the corn.litions for
distinguishing the suhconscious mechanisms are not always ,?ery clear or well defined.
According to him, there is no ? requis ite organization ? as such. since organizations are
cultural and symholic productions, created by human beings. rherefore fa!lihle par excellence.
The articulation between the p ychic and the organizational remains an area of
exploration for which psychoanalysis should be associared with other human sciences. |
