The objective of this article is to validate the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale, based on a scientific research conducted with 604 managers of a large French company. The concept of self esteem has in fact many applications in the field of management, especially in the Human Resource, and this validation was done as part of a broader research on the hierarchical advancement of women executives (including managers). Results of analysis – both exploratory and confirmatory - demonstrate a two- dimensional structure of the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale. |
