Résumé : |
The literature in organisation studies often refers to beliefs. Yet, they are rarely examined or even defined; they remain un-thought. The aim of this article is twofold. First, to show how important beliefs are for academic fields such as organisational behaviour or organisation theory. Then to analyse the very concept of belief in a more systematic approach. In doing so, Kant’s Critique of pure reason will appear to be both seminal and structuring. In conclusion, we will show how management science and practices can be based on beliefs without falling into irrationality. |
