Within the framework of Weick’s theory, we study how the organizational actors, involved in interaction systems, produce in a collective way shared meanings of the implementation of the quality management. Our case study consists in two surveys conducted in a special school for handicapped people. The first one, which was based on a “name generator”, was administered in order to provide informations about how the communications among the actors relative to quality management are structured. Two weeks later, unstructured and depth interviews were carried out to uncover the meanings of the quality management. This research showed that the process of intersubjectivity resulted in more complexe and more diversified perceptions of the quality management than the perceptions produced by the generic subjectivity. |
