Links between mentorship and professional burnout is a subject studied partly through a positivist approach for which the former is likely to act positively on the second. It is true that a favorable influence of the existence of a mentoring system has been brought to light, particularly through the work of psychoanalysts. Nevertheless, the particular framework of a consulting organization where interpersonal relationship are highly fluctuating can reveal elements of complexity that generate many ills. Through an ethnographic study we seek to question consultants to lead them to take a reflexive approach in their relationship to professional mentoring especially when they are in a mentorship situation. |
