Associate Professor at IAE Metz School of Management (Université de Lorraine), Baptiste Rappin’s research works and papers deal with underlying the primary philosophical laws of management and organizational sciences. Such ambitious themes led him to explore the different dimensions of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of politics, ethics, but also theology. He emphasizes the important role of cybernetics in the formation of modern society in general, and more specifically the formation of management. He was directly involved with other colleagues of his in the creation of the Philosophical Society of Management Science. The society plans a yearly seminar on the philosophical treatment of managerial issues.
